We are all cosmically connected to the wireless internet, though everyone has a different house to live in. Astrology has played an important role in the shaping of societies. In ancient times Astrology and Astronomy were considered identical. Predictive and divinatory knowledge became a motivating factor for astronomical observation which in turn seperated away from the astronomical aspects. This seperation actually occured during the Renaissance and then became two distinct subjects in the 18th century. Even today, astronomy distinguishes itself as the pure scientific analysis of the universe with absolutely no regard to any kind of cosmic or super conscious understandings.
Movements and positions of celestial bodies somehow have a direct influence to life on earth. The actual science of astrology develops into a sybolic language as well as an interpretive art form of divine proportions. But the scientific community will never admit the possibility of predictions based on supernatural forces. Astrology for them is strictly a pseudoscience or superstition.
