Cad Arm Publications features Gerald Shingleton, an architect who has published two books. The Architects Reference Manual, published in 2006 and now, Journey to Terra Incognita: Epiphany in Time. His novel has taken three years to research and write. The story is historically accurate and takes place on a college campus in central California in 1950.

He grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, in 1971, with a professional degree in architecture. Currently, he’s a senior principal in a Phoenix based architectural firm.
Gerald founded the Phoenix, Arizona, chapter of the Art Bell Chat Club in 1996. Like minded people assembled for interesting fringe topics discussed on the night time radio program. A member of Rotary International, since 1985, he served as club president for the Mesa-East Rotary in Arizona in 2000-2001. Rotary bestowed an honorary Paul Harris Fellowship in 2001 for outstanding volunteerism designing a children’s crisis center for Sunshine Acres Christian Children’s Home founded in 1947, referred to as the ‘Miracle-in the Desert’. International matching grant funds turned the dream into a reality.

Dedicated in the pursuit of TRUTH, he has devoted much of his time researching scientific creationism learning, in particular about the singularity and duality domains. Gerald claims God is clearly identified as a ‘creator’. God is pure singularity, an eternal consciousness where creativity can’t be present (creation requires a beginning). Duality is the created realm which exists because of opposing forces like positive and negative, beginning and ending, up and down, good and evil, God’s will and free will, etc. When the high ranking angel, Lucifer, was given dominion over creation, duality corrupted his purpose believing the opposing forces of evil could take over God’s sovereign rule of the universe.
Gerald says the ‘Big-Bang’ is a theory almost 99% provable. But in essence, the term is misleading. Creation was not a bang, but a process that was ‘willed’ from singularity. There’s no time dimension in singularity. Time is a scale to measure motion inside duality. Creation must have motion and resistance. It can not be static or it wouldn’t exist to begin with.

Gerald’s break-out novel is truly thought provoking. The narration is from the viewpoint of an atheist who attempts to reason a creation without a creator. What he discovers is a deceived world where beliefs are disguised as truth, manufactured by the agency of trickery. The story challenges current traditions masked in a counterfeit faith which makes the book controversial. But challenging beliefs opens the mind to truth.

The adventure packed story is a mixture of ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’, ‘Celestine Prophesy’, and the ‘Da Vinci Code’ all wrapped into one exciting tale.
